TLDR: Food 4 stars. Service +1 star. If there was ever a case of "Don't judge a book by its cover", this restaurant is definitely one of them. From the outside, it looks like an abandoned restaurant, or one that is about to close down ANY MINUTE now. In fact, we have walked past this place many times because it looks abandoned. But once you step inside, it's a COMPLETELY different place. The floors are wood, nicely swept. The booths look very neat and modern. It's still a bit dark inside though. It's one of those places where you order through your phone. I ordered the General Tso Combo (chicken/rice/broccoli/won ton crisps???). The chicken was tender and crunchy, and a bit spicy, but I (being a weak spice eater) could still handle it. I'm not sure about the won ton crisps though... I think it would do better with more broccoli instead. My wife ordered the sour cabbage and pork noodle soup. She thought the flavor was really delicious. Very sour she said, knowing I don't like sour that much. No thanks, I'll take her word for it! We also ordered some Sweet Soy Sauce chicken wings. They were fresh off the fryer, so steaming hot! The breading isn't too thick, and the meat inside was well-cooked but tender. The flavor wasn't too bad, but it's made with honey. So it stuck to my teeth, my shirt, shorts, everywhere! When we come back, I think we'll order a different sauce. This would normally be a 4 star restaurant (which is still great! means I would definitely come back). But what pushed it to 5 was the service. Well the first guy who greeted us wasn't so friendly. His tone was a bit flat. I thought he was angry at us, maybe... for coming in so late? It was around 4:30pm. But there was an older gentleman, with shoulder-length hair, who was very attentive to our needs. Without us asking, he offered to bring us a bowl so we could share the soup (not that I needed it). I noticed him always busy, whether it was cleaning tables, filling each station with chopsticks/napkins. He didn't seem like a busboy, because he was ordering other people around as well. Well, whoever he is, he alone gives this place another star.

Very fast service, got seated right away. Really like the ambiance as well, lots of people but not too noisy! Got the string beans and eggplant, the scallion pancakes, the xinjian spicy chicken. Portions are huge! Could have gone a bit spicier on the chicken, but the eggplant is great and love the fried rice!!

This place was great. My roommate has been here 5 times and I can see why. The food here is more affordable than most places, portions were large, and everything tasted amazing. Great ambiance Came here with my two roommates and we definitely ordered way too much but enjoyed it all. Food came out quick and service was amazing and had a great time. Food: 82. Pork tripe w/ White pepper Chicken soup: my favorite item. Everything was well flavored and it was the most comforting food. The tripe was soft and tasty and the jujubes enhanced the overall dish. This is a must order 38. String Beans & Eggplant w/ Soy Sauce: thoroughly enjoyed this dish. The eggplant and green beans had amazing flavor. Fresh and quality. Get this if you need a veggie dish 88. Fried Pork Ribs w/ Explosive Chili Pepper: this one was explosive alright. Good dry rub seasoning and had a kick to it. Nice and crispy and overall a fantastic dish. 5. Spices Satay Beef Wok: this was good as it was loaded with many different items but I didn't really remember this one too much since the other menu items stole the show 81. Special Pork Bone: a lot of meat, good and tasty. Simple and flavorful

First time at Fashion Wok and everything about this restaurant was amazing! If you're a fan of taiwanese style hotpots and unique savory dishes this place is for you. During this visit my family and I ordered the following dishes: - beef satay hotpot - fried intestines - spicy tripe + beef - spicy ear - soy sauce glazed fried chicken wings - eggplant w/ green beans Though all dishes were absolutely delicious. My favorites were the soy sauce glazed chicken wings & fried intestines. In addition to the food, service was amazing'! Overall, I will definitely visiting this restaurant again
